Narrow roughing plane (single iron plane), Franz Wertheim, around 1870-1880

Long smoothing plane, probably Franz Wertheim, around 1850

Originally a double plane, but at some point it was turned into a roughing plane. You can still see the groove for the long screw of the double iron, but the bed has been provided with a wooden inlay to adjust it for a single iron. The blade is by Franz Wertheim, which is why I also assign the plane to the company Wertheim, which is by no means certain. Manufacturer brands no longer exist on the plane itself.

Long smoothing plane, probably Franz Wertheim, around 1870-1880?

This plane does not bear a manufacturer's mark, but due to the iron I think it comes from Franz Wertheim. The extremely unusual shape of the nose makes me suspect that it was either made at the request of the customer or was built for an exhibition.
